  1. "Though one's individualism can trap them in an isolated state of their own making, this trait can also affect others in a positive way, rubbing off on them with the lessons learned by the original person."
    My first thesis focused on three different aspects of individualism, and it was solid but wasn't perfectly following the prompt.

  2. Through his own and Chris McCandless's experiences the author shows that individualism is not a solution to a person's problems. The examples he uses to prove this point are the loneliness of Chris and himself out in the wild and the power of the nature that they try to overcome.

Jon Krakauer, in his book Into the Wild, delineates how individualism is unnatural to human beings, the "social animals" who need some kind of gatherings and community; Krakauer does this through Chris's decision and consequence of going into the wild after he escapes the society, which he once belonged to.
